ARMSTRONG begins by conducting a comprehensive
evaluation of your steam system. This includes a Steam Utilization Survey to
identify the rational utilization of steam. We evaluate boiler load
management and use of the steam turbine for making low-pressure steam
instead of throttling high-pressure steam through a pressure-reducing valve.
This overall evaluation also includes a Steam Valve/Piping
Analysis conducted as a part of the steam trap survey. Leaking valves or
improper piping can contribute to energy loss or damaged equipment (water
hammer).
